- Abstract: This guideline assists physicians and patients to make informed decisions about PSA testing as a screening tool and the appropriate use of PSA testing for follow-up in men who have had prostate cancer
- Target Population:
- • The appropriate use of PSA testing can include: follow-up of a man with prostate cancer; evaluation of a
man with an abnormal DRE, evaluation of a man with lower urinary tract symptoms - • PSA testing should be discussed with men at higher risk for the development of prostate cancer and men
