Seven clinics participated in the Enhanced Participation in Cancer Screening II (EPICSII) project, which started last November. This project is designed to assist physicians in Primary Care create processes and identify methods to increase screening rates for cancer.

TOP is very pleased to be working in partnership with Alberta Health Services, Highlands PCN (2 clinics), Bow Valley PCN (2 clinics), Calgary Rural PCN (2 clinics), and South Calgary PCN on this project. The participating clinics have implemeted processes and optimized their EMRs for enhanced cancer screening, results are currently being evaluated.
