AIM is a made in Alberta program working to eliminate delays in the health care system using principles that help match supply and demand. The goal of AIM is for each patient to see their own physician without a wait. Through improvement processes and principles, and using a collaborative model of learning, wait times and delays can be improved or eliminated. Partnering with the Primary Care Network’s, the Primary Care Initiative, Alberta Health Services, and the Alberta Medical Association, TOP helps bring AIM principles to Alberta physicians and their teams.
