SCOPE: Laboratory testing

ABSTRACT: 
Cushing’s Syndrome is relatively rare. Studies suggest that the incidence of Cushing’s Syndrome is 10 per million or approximately 1 in 5,000 hospital. The guideline makes recommendations for laboratory investigation and early referral.

TARGET POPULATION: 
Patients exhibiting clinical features of Cushing’s disease
