SCOPE:
Screening recomemndations for low, average, moderate, and high risk patients
ABSTRACT:
This guideline was developed in partnership with the Alberta Cancer Board and provides recommendations for the stratificaiton of risk levels and for the use of different screening modalities
TARGET POPULATION:
Average risk patients aged 50+ with no symptoms and no personal or family history that increases their risk level
Selective populations who due to medical history (i.e., HNPCC, FAP, IBD, or previous colorectal cancer) are at elevated risk for colorectal cancer
EXCLUSIONS:
None
